STORYTELLIT
WHAT IS STORYTELLIT?
StoryTELLit is a fun, interactive workshop that will get you to stop explaining your stories and actually tell them in a way that engages your audience. It isn’t a six-week long course on creative writing, but a fast, powerful experience to improve how you convey values and impact to others. It is available to attend on your own or can be customized and delivered to your team.
WHO IS STORYTELLIT FOR?
This workshop is for anyone trying to engage others in their work. Whether you call it fundraising, recruiting, evangelizing, persuading, or selling, StoryTELLit is designed for you. This might mean that you are:
A student or job-seeker looking to connect with potential employers
A non-profit fundraiser or board member looking to connect with new supports
A political candidate or volunteer looking to connect with voters, volunteers and donors
A leader looking to motivate and connect with your team in a new way
A founder looking to connect with investors in a way that stands out
WHAT WILL STORYTELLIT GIVE ME?
StoryTELLit will give you the ability to identify the stories in your life and business that matter. It will tie those meaningful experiences to the interests and concerns of your audience. It will get you to communicate differently - and then feel the impact of that new communication.
HOW DO I SIGN UP FOR STORYTELLIT?
When available, StoryTELLit workshops for the public will be listed here. However, if you are part of a student group, nonprofit, learning community or company who wants your own tailored version of StoryTELLit, you can reach out to Kim@caldwellconnect.com to talk scheduling and pricing.
As an Annie's List intern, I attended a professional development workshop with Kim where I realized that I already knew my story and had the confidence to tell it. What she gave me was a framework to make everything come together and connect with people much better. I was able to utilize the lessons she gave me throughout the recruiting process my senior year and saw what a difference it made in recruiters relating to me more and wanting to connect with me.

The lessons of StoryTELLit, along with Kim’s passion and energy, really connected with the Latina college students I lead at Con Mi MADRE. Her strengths-based approach made them feel comfortable and empowered to share their personal stories in a group setting. Her presentation really sunk-in with my students and set the tone for our entire conference, ending with my students telling their own stories and NAILING IT!
